Koi Fish

Two Kois swimming
Round and round
Spirits sounding
From the ground

He cries out
To the night
Oh, please save
The Princess Light

Evil approaching
Devastatingly rare
Will he take
The fish to spare?

But no, he doesn't
He threatens to kill
But the trader of fire
Saved from his own will

When Koi Fish safe
And Princess gone
What now to do
But look to dawn

Two Kois swimming
Round and round
With spirits sounding
From the ground.

Author's Note: I wrote this somewhere in the middle of seventh grade. It's actually based off an episode of my favorite childhood TV show, "Avatar: The Last Airbender", where they are in the northern water tribe, in the cave with the lake containing the Koi Fish (or Ying Yang).
